Outstandig result for the Reds. Shandong never in it, completely dominated by Adelaide. Hoping they go much further in this comp.

All credit to Vidmar... seems to know how to get the best out of his players in Asia (unlike tosspot Merrick). Next socceroos coach perhaps?!

Fantastic for Adelaide. What a powerful header by Leckie.
And their ACL strip looks fantastic.
Well in Adelaide.

One of the best away performances I've seen in a long time, played it almost perfectly, with goals from a well executed set piece and a great quick counter attack.

Things are looking up for AU starting with their away strip (quite a number of the Reebok strips are looking good eg. Jets away). AU have a great squad and a strong bench they have done very well with their new players coming in too. In Leckie, Mullen, Jamison and Barbiero they have some very promising youngsters

FFA opened the purse strings, or maybe it has been the new owners to get some decent players into the squad. I'd expect a decent crowd come the next ACL match at home.

Flores and Van Dijk have been great signings for them. Really making things tick, going forward. It's taking a bit of pressure off of Leckie too. It'll be interesting to see how he goes in his second season.

Abject apologies for giving the wrong score: unforgiveable. At least I got the right winner. Adelaide looked very good, their youngsters did very well. Hope we get Van Dyck next year.

Not sure if this is related to the topic, but fuck I hate Melbourne. Like I really, really do. Sure Hitler, Saddam, Stalin etc were bad, but at least they weren't from Melbourne.

Tards have a game on Tuesday night in Japan. I can't see them taking many points, regardless of who wins on Saturday night.

Kawasaki have won both their J.League games this season but have lost both their ACL games so far, so I'dmagine they'd be pretty fired up to win this one.
