I don't know what his doing nower days but i remember Jürgen Klinsmann being linked with the role last time, I hope his got a job somewhere already...

I don't think he found a new job after he got sacked by Bayern Munich.

WBA looked attacking a while back, maybe that guys available? We don't care about results do we?
He's doing great things at Celtic at the moment Roll Eyes

Tony Mowbray?

Football-wise, his hearts definitely in the right place, but he's English, he would never get a fair suck of the sav from the media (and probably most of the fans).

Don't disagree with that, but we hardly have the players to be playing expansive football for a start do we?

Ask Celtic fans if they would prefer expansive football or you know.. beating Rangers.

That was the point I was trying to make anyway.....

People on here seem more concerned with playing great football, rather than winning.

True, and I dont want to get carried away by idealism, as Pim's results are second to none, but we've now discovered that we can still dominate the AFC by playing a more attacking brand of football. We may not have been certain of this in 2006, but we are now.

We don't have the cavalry to play defensive possession football, but that hasn't stopped us.

Whats Houllier upto these days? He seems to have some kind of relationship with the FFA. I know he isnt Dutch but he may be a dark horse. Last I heard was that he was linked to be a director of football with France but I never heard anymore.

Hollandaise sauce?  Never mind the fact it doesn't exist in Holland.

This is why I don't understand the massive hate for Verbeek's tactics, especially given the fact that the players all love him. You could not say all the players loved Hiddink.

1 - Football players are demonstrably thick as a group, the fact that players 'love' a coach is no credential. Everybody in the Argentina squad loves Maradonna, doesn't make him a great coack.

2 - I wonder if you'll feel the same way when Australia come back from SA with no points and a solitary goal to their credit, because that's what's going to happen with Verbeek at the helm.

Probably because he doesnt fuck with their heads, like what Hiddink often did.
