I may have just seen the most upsetting thing i've ever seen in that undercard tag match.

Fale lost a fan for life.

I have just caught up and saw the incident, sometimes you just have to look away. A sad moment for sure.

Pretty workmanlike show tonight, Yano Toru stole the show in his match with Omega, and Okada vs SANADA was a great bout.

I went 5/5 tonight for the first time since day 3, and 19/30 overall now.

I went 2/5 last night, what a shocker. I was banking on Juice for the upset, what was I thinking.

The WWE Network makes suffering a bad PPV not as rotten an experience as it used to be. Can you imagine paying $35 for that?

3/5 tonight for me in G1 picks. Nagata was once again the star of the night, he is having insane quality bouts with everyone. That old man can still go, that's for sure.

People really need to stop announcing that this will be their last tournament, it is a guarantee for a tough time. If Tenzan and Liger in the last G1 and BOSJ wasn't evidence enough!

40 matches in and I'm still having a blast with G1 27.

3/5 tonight, I picked the main event result though! I had a feeling about it. What a damn match it was, and one hell of a finish. If anyone ever disrespects that move and uses it as a high spot, I will never watch their bouts again.

I'm sitting at 26/40, I'd like to be above 30 by the end of next round, as we hit the halfway point.

Main event was the only one i got wrong. Would have loved Kojima to win though, Okada was such an asshole. It was fantastic.

That was easily the best crowd since probably night 1. Added so much to the show.

Nakamura wrestling for a WWE World championship in a major bout at Summerslam, what a time to be alive.

Here comes the first ever Japanese World champion in the WWE?

I'd love to see him win at Summerslam.... only for Baron Corbin to cash in immediately. It would cement Corbin as a super heel.
Muscat admitted after the grand final loss to Sydney FC last month that he would be haunted for some time for sending his spot kick into the post, a miss which helped Sydney claim the championship.

PWA in Sydney with Will Ospreay in the main event should be a bit of fun.

Also fuck Baron Corbin but also damn if that idea hasn't made me really angry before it has even happened. Hypothetical booking success by the WWE in that regard!

G1 Climax 27 rolls on I'm 39/60 in predictions so far. Just 6 nights left before finals.

So i've been fairly active on reddit and the New Japan subreddit's discord server and so many people are completely ignoring the obvious here that Naito and Okada is the WK Main event.

Spoiler for Hidden:
I was laughed at on reddit for saying Evil is 100% beating Okada because they were all too busy fantasy booking all the different ways Okada v Omega and Omega v Ibushi could play out and were completely casting aside LIJ. Forest for the trees and all that. This had to happen to give Okada a pre-WK LIJ opponent.

So i'm super happy Evil won. He's been so good this tournament.

That might sound more smug than i had thought... Anyway, great show just now.

Second the above.

Also, happy in a way that G1 is over as I need a break, haha. Amazing few weeks of action, give all those guys a rest, they must be beaten and battered. NJPW really is on fire.

Fairly heartbroken today! November 27 is the return of International Assault tour (which some may remember from spectacular rosters in 2005 and 2007) and I won't be in Sydney to see the show.

More heartbroken when I see some of the already announced roster.

Ricochet, Joey Ryan, Sean Waltman, ZACK MOTHERFUCKING SABRE JR just announced. Could not be more devastated to miss out on a show than right now.

Please everyone in Sydney go attend this show, make it worthwhile for them to run it again and not wait 10 more years!

Takeover entertaining as always even if Roode v Galloway wasn't amazing.

Looking forward to see what they have planned for those 3.

Takeovers are always great quality, it really helps that they are 2 and a half hours long as opposed to 3 or 4. WWE really runs thin on quality when they go long like that.

Asuka vs Ember Moon was my match of the show. Amazing that women's wrestling has reached a point now that could never have been imagined in US wrestling even not so long ago. The legends of the previous age, the Lita, Stratus, etc were great "women's wrestlers" but nowdays the top women are "great wrestlers."

You don't need to quantify that it was a great "women's match" anymore like I feel you used to. There was a legitimate difference in quality. That difference has been erased now, and with people like Kaori Sane coming in, it will be erased even more.

The debuts and uniting of the three mentioned in the Spoiler tags...very cool. Very cool!
